Food & Drink

There will be 4 Fool Hardy Ales always available and 4 other guest Cask ales at any one time.

The Spring Gardens has a large selection of both draught and bottled beers from all over the world.

The beers are not named individually on this site, as the idea is to evolve and change the range as and when needed to incorporate its clientele base.

Here’s a taster of what to expect:

8 Cask Ales, 4 of which are brewed 'in house' at The Hope's very own micro-brewery, ‘Fool Hardy Ales’.

14 draught continental craft beers, lagers & ciders

There is also a large selection of bottled beers from around the world, easily enjoyed by experts and non-experts alike, due to our comprehensive bottle menu with descriptions of each beer.

As well as a large range of Wines, we also have a considerable range of Fruit Wines, Spirits, Soft drinks, plus speciality tea and coffee for those who find themselves voted as designated driver, or have simply had enough beer for one day!

NEW! The Core range is now available in 500ml bottle conditioned, bottles. Rash, Risky & Reckless.

Also available in a 3 bottle presentation box or 12 bottle box.

Our food menu was specially developed by Ben Chambers, our Head Chef, with input from Samantha & Martin.

We aim to start at a level we hope will impress and satisfy, but we very much feel that even though Ben has vast experience and both Martin & Samantha have worked with-in the food sector, we need to walk and not set off at a sprint.  We are strong believers in getting things right, and although you cannot please everyone all the time, the food and drink offering is expected to evolve with the pub over time.
